​Welcome:
 
The  Spring  Ottawa  Craft Show is a 2 day show and sale of Canadian talent both emerging and established. This upscale venue creates the perfect environment to showcase quality workmanship.

 If you are proud of what you create, are driven to be the best at what you make;  we invite you send in your application in order for the opportunity to  be accepted as an Exhibitor in our show.   You and/or your company needs to play an integral part of the creation of what you wish to exhibit and sell at our shows.  We do not allow MLM or resellers as exhibitors such as Tupperware, Sweetlegs, Avon, Scentsy, Etc. 


The  Spring Ottawa Craft Shows will be hosted in a beautiful main floor building known as The Centurion Conference and Event Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. This well appointed building has some wonderful features including all main floor access to and from the back entrance for scheduled move in and out, a huge FREE parking lot for both exhibitors and patrons. The venue is just a few minutes drive off one of Ottawa's main arteries being Hunt Club Road, and so much more. 

The Centurion Conference and Event Centre offers over 13,000 sq ft of upscale event space ideally suited to make our event desirable as it lends itself to creating a romantic low level lighting environment that along with the exhibitors lighting will create a very special look and feel to the show. Each booth has the option to include  one 15 amp electrical outlet so you may light your space accordingly.  

Of other significance, they say that timing is everything;    The Spring  Ottawa Craft Show will be early to market a craft show of significant size in this area   - This was consciously chosen and will be a significant advantage.  

Our extensive marketing campaign reaches consumers months in advance of the date and increases in both traditional and social media buys in order to create awareness and desire.  With over 900,000 people in Ottawa, our campaign targets  the shopper who is eager to come shop our event.

    Booth Rental Options 
    6' wide x 5' deep does not include pipe and drape (space only)

    other sizes includes Pipe and Drape 8' back and 3' sides. All prices are plus HST
    Please advise us. We cannot guarantee however we will take this into consideration.

    General 

    • NO MICROPHONES OR SIMILAR DEVICES PERMITTED THAT MAY BE DISRUPTIVE TO NEIGHBORING BOOTHS. YOU MAY NOT USE A GENERATOR OR ANYTHING THAT CAUSES NOISE. 
    • YOU MAY NOT SOLICIT OR CONDUCT BUSINESS OUTSIDE YOUR BOOTH RENTAL SPACE. 
    • NO HANDMADE SIGNS (UNPROFESSIONAL) ,  NO SIGNS OF REDUCED SALE PRICE,  OR SIMILAR NATURE. 
    • NO OBJECTIONABLE PRODUCTS THAT MAY BE IN POOR TASTE SUCH AS WRITTEN FOUL LANGUAGE, OR OF A SEXUAL NATURE THAT WOULD BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME, OR ANYTHING SIMILAR ALONG THAT IDEA.  AT THE REQUEST OF THE ORGANIZER, THESE ITEMS ARE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE SHOW WITHOUT DELAY.   
    • NO PETS ARE PERMITTED.  
    • ALL REFUSE GENERATED BY EACH EXHIBITOR MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY FOR FUTURE DISPOSAL  BY THAT EXHIBITOR AT THEIR EXPENSE NO LATER THAN ONE HOUR UPON COMPLETION OF THE SHOW.  EXCEPTION :  ITEMS PROVIDED  TO THEIR RESPECTIVE CUSTOMER(S) (SUCH AS FOOD PLATES, CUPS, ETC., PROVIDED IN THE SALE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSUMER  CONSUMPTION .  FAILURE TO DO SO; THE EXHIBITOR SHALL PAY A FINE EQUAL TO THE COST OF DISPOSAL BY THE ORGANIZER PLUS $100.  
    • INDOOR BOOTH DISPLAY AND/OR PRODUCT MAY NOT BE HIGHER THAN 8 FEET - NO TENTS ALLOWED
    • PIPE AND DRAPE IS NOT TO BE DAMAGED OR DRILLED, PINNED, ETC., OR EXCESS WEIGHT APPLIED TO IT IN ANYWAY THAT MAY CAUSE AN UNSAFE HAZARD.  
    • ALL TABLES  AND SIMILAR SURFACES SHOULD BE COVERED AND FINISHED WITH NO SPACE SHOWING UNDERNEATH BY A CLOTH OR SIMILAR SO AS TO PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL FINISHED LOOK. 
    • FOOD SAMPLING (2 oz or less)  IS PERMITTED FOR THE PURPOSES OF SELLING A TAKE AWAY PACKAGED CONTAINER FOR HOME CONSUMPTION  (NO SINGLE SERVING SIZES OR OPEN FOOD CONTAINER SUCH AS A SINGLE MUFFIN (UNLESS SPECIFICALLY  AUTHORIZED IN WRITING BY THE ORGANIZER ) .   
    • NO DRILLING OR ATTACHING ANYTHING TO WALLS, GLASS,  CEILING OR FLOOR OR ANY OTHER PART OF THE BUILDING THAT IS NOT ABLE TO BE REMOVED BY THE EXHIBITOR BY END OF SHOW HOUR WITHOUT DAMAGE WHATSOEVER. 
    • NO COMBUSTIBLE FLAME 
    • NO HIGHLY SCENTED PRODUCTS TO BE OPEN ON DISPLAY THAT SMELL WOULD LINGER TO YOUR NEIGHBORS BOOTH.
    • . TWO ADMISSION PASSES PER BOOTH 5'x10' OR SMALLER , 3 PASSES FOR 10 X 10 OR LARGER. ADDITIONAL PASSES ARE CHARGED AT THE CURRENT RATE OF ENTRY PER DAY.  ​



    SET UP: SET  UP TIME WILL BE PROVIDED CLOSER TO THE SHOW DATE
    YOUR SPECIFIC Your Set up date will be on day of or the day prior to the event.   

    TEAR DOWN: EXHIBITOR AGREES TO NOT TEAR DOWN, REMOVE PRODUCT OR DISPLAY, OR VACATE THEIR BOOTH DURING THE PUBLISHED  HOURS AND DAYS OF THE SHOW. TEAR DOWN WILL COMMENCE AT 4:01PM ON THE FINAL DAY OF SHOW. 

    SECURITY:    THE VENUE PROVIDES STATE OF THE ART SECURITY MONITORING AND LOCK DOWN AFTER SET UP AND SHOW TIME ON THE UNTIL 7AM ON EACH SHOW DATE.   UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THE ORGANIZER  RESPONSIBLE  OR LIABLE FOR YOUR SAFETY OR SECURITY OF YOU OR YOUR YOUR BELONGINGS AT ANYTIME.  TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION FOR YOUR PROTECTION. 


    FOOD EXHIBITORS :
    IF YOU ARE SELLING, SAMPLING OR SERVING ANY FOOD ITEMS, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO EXECUTE AND SUBMIT A SPECIAL EVENT APPLICATION 2  WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT:  https://forms.ottawapublichealth.ca/Special-Event-Application-for-Food-Vendors


    SPACE RENTAL:
    The space you rent allows you to showcase and sell your products as approved by the Organizer within the defined areas of your demised space. You the Exhibitor shall be subject to observe all statues, regulations, by-laws, and rules and regulations in force and whether or not any express notice of same shall have been given to you the Exhibitor.
     
    Your display including product must not exceed the height restriction  and must be contained within the demised rental area.   Nothing may be drilled or attached to the walls, floors or ceiling or any other part of the building that may cause damage by excess weight or by any other means whatsoever.  
     

    The Exhibitor shall not sublet, assign or otherwise alienated by the Organizer but the same shall be for all purposes personal to the Exhibitor only and any breach of this provision shall render such agreement immediately null and void.  The breach of any by-laws or rules and regulation or provision of this agreement authorizes the Show Organizer to summarily cancel this license agreement therefore revoking the right to exhibit as provided herein. Upon cancellation the Exhibitor shall forfeit any right of refund. 
     
    INSURANCE
    The Exhibitor shall be responsible for their own liability insurance  no less than the amount of  One (1) million dollars during  the duration of the occupancy of the premises of the show venue. The Exhibitor agrees and will provide a certificate of insurance to the Organizer should the request be made by the Organizer within 7 (seven) days.   
     
     
    The Organizer reserves the right in cases of an emergency  to  cancel summarily any or all agreements  and permits this respecting occupation of the right of occupation of any stall of any portion of the Venue  without notice given or reasons stated upon payment to the Exhibitor entitled of the proportion of the fees covering the unexpired portion of the term hereby and without claim or redress on the part of such Exhibitor against the Organizer or any other person or corporation which might claim contribution or indemnity from the Exhibitor.
     
    The Organizer reserves the right to choose it’s artisans in keeping with the general spirit of supporting and promoting the arts and ‘small-box’ shopping in an upscale atmosphere. Failure to comply with the intent of this declaration may disqualify the Exhibitor  from participation in this and future shows, at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
     

    Cancellation Fee
    Absolutely no refunds or credits within 120 days of the event date under any circumstances.  All cancellations made prior to the 120 day window will receive their full refund less $100 administration fee (plus HST). 

    HOW LONG IS THE JURY PROCESS BEFORE I GET A REPLY?   
    Subject to the number of applications, we will endeavor to respond to you within 10 working days.

    WHAT HAPPENS ONCE ACCEPTED?   
    We will send you an email, with a breakdown of your accepted space along with an invoice.  In order for your agreement to be binding, you agree to settle your account in full within 3 days (72 hours). If you do not pay it within the 72 hour time frame, we have the right to withdraw our offer without further notice or future obligation.  We accept e-transfer  for payment sent to info@OttawaCraftShows.com or you can also remit your payment using any major credit card via PayPal.  PLEASE WAIT FOR US TO APPROVE & INVOICE YOU.  HST IS APPLICABLE AND WILL BE ADDED TO THE AMOUNTS ABOVE.
